My time as a trainee in 2008 at WAO was really the time of my life. During training we had all kinds of adventures, from learning to read water and swim in the river, to the great overnight adventures with the trainers. Training was not all fun, there were times it was difficult and very demanding, but in the end I have never had so much fun in a summer thanks to Tony, Kathy and the guides at WAO.

This two day adventure is our most popular overnight rafting trip by far. Inclusive are the three most popular white water sections on the Arkansas River. Browns Canyon on the first day, then Bighorn Sheep Canyon and the infamous Royal Gorge on the second day. You will camp on the banks of the river, relax with your favorite beverage and hors devours, while your guide prepares an incredible meal. Our guides are not just white water experts they are also great camp cooks and entertaining as well. In the morning the coffee will be ready when you awake, and a hearty breakfast shortly after to help prepare you for the best whitewater rafting trip in Colorado, the Royal Gorge full day.

 

 

Minimum age on this trip is 13-18 years old (depending on water level) Includes four meals, lunch on the riverside both days, plus dinner and breakfast at camp.
