My time as a trainee in 2008 at WAO was really the time of my life. During training we had all kinds of adventures, from learning to read water and swim in the river, to the great overnight adventures with the trainers. Training was not all fun, there were times it was difficult and very demanding, but in the end I have never had so much fun in a summer thanks to Tony, Kathy and the guides at WAO.

Royal Gorge Overnighter

This trip is the guide's favorite overnighter. A mild float to our riverside camp the first day. At camp you can relax and enjoy while the guides take care of all the chores. Hors devours and an incredible meal will be served. In the morning coffee will be ready when you awake and a hearty breakfast shortly after to help prepare you for the best whitewater rafting trip in Colorado, the Royal Gorge full day.

Minimum age on this trip is 13-18 years old (depending on water level) Includes three meals, dinner and breakfast at camp and lunch on the riverside on day two.
